Apex Legends keeps crashing – things to do

Here, we will share some tips and ideas you can try.

  • Update the drivers – this should be your first stop if the game keeps crashing.
  • If the issue started right after you updated the driver, then what you need to do is to downgrade it.
  • Update Windows – make sure that you have the latest version of Windows
  • Disable all overlays such as Oring, Discord, etc.
  • Restart your PC to close the processes that are running in the background. One of the processes could be interfering with the game.
  • Uninstall NVIDIA GeForce Experience and install it again. This helped many Apex Legends players to get rid of the issue.
  • Limit FPS in the game – Click on the gear icon to access the Settings. Go to Game Properties > Advanced Launch Options > Add +fps_max 90 or (some other max option), and when you are done, click Save.
  • Adjust all graphic settings to be as low as possible within the game
  • You can also try reducing the VRAM from 8GB to 6GB.
  • Reinstall the game.

Try these solutions one by one, and hopefully one will do the trick and the crashes will stop.
