Fitbit Charge 3 won’t sync – How to fix it

Here are some things to try when Fitbit Charge 3 Won’t sync.

Make sure you have the latest version of the Fitbit app

  • If you own Android, go to Play Store, tap on the hamburger icon then tap on My apps and games. Tap Update All.
  • If you own an iPhone, go to App Store, tap on your profile icon and then tap Updates.

Force Close Fitbit app

Restarting the Fitbit app may fix the problem. If you have an iPhone, tap on the Home button twice, find Fitbit, and then swipe up to close it. If you have an Android, go to Settings > Apps, find Fitbit,  then tap Force Stop.

Toggle Bluetooth on your phone

All you have to do here is disable Bluetooth, leave it off for a minute then enable it again.

Forget Fitbit Charge 3 on your phone then pair the devices again

Navigate to Settings, Bluetooth, find your Fitbit among the devices and forget the device. Pair your phone and your Fitbit Charge 3 all over again.

Restart your Fitbit Charge 3 and your phone

Uninstall the Fitbit app and install it again

Find the Fitbit app icon on the home screen of your phone. Tap and hold it. On Android tap Uninstall and on iPhone tap an X to delete the app. Once the app is uninstalled, head over to Play Store or App Store and get it.
