Is This The first Android Phone With 3D Touch From ZTE?

Previously, Synaptic has announced their plan in presenting the “3D Touch” for Android phones in 2017. But, ZTE was faster as the company brought this technology for their new device, ZTE Axon Mini, which is claimed as the first Android phone with 3D Touch from ZTE to have the equivalent of Apple’s 3D Touch technology on the iPhone 6s. Actually, they announced the Axon Mini last July and back then they talked about a touchscreen that could differentiate between various levels of pressure. Unfortunately, at that time, there wasn’t any features yet to explain it, until Apple introduced the 3D Touch feature in September through iPhone 6s.

Is This The first Android Phone With 3D Touch From ZTE?

ZTE Axon Mini is a mid-range smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. The display size is 5.2-inch with Full HD resolution. It has 13 megapixels main camera and 2,800 mAh battery. The interesting thing is its front facing camera, which has 8 megapixels. The fingerprint scanner can be found on the back side of the device. The Axon mini will be available in Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Russia, Japan, India, Australia, France, German, Turkey, Spain, and Italy in the upcoming months, and it will cost $379 (329 EUR).

We don’t know yet how the “3D Touch” on Android phone will be implemented. Will the level of pressure will be provided with the taptic engine as well as Apple? Let’s wait and see.
