Galaxy S7 Edge has a bigger dimension (5.5-inch display size) than S7 (5.2-inch display size). It contrasts with Galaxy S6 display size and S6 Edge, which comes with a 5.1 inch display. The back of each handset will be similar to the Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge Plus, where the former features a flat display and curved rear and the latter has the opposite. By adopting a glass and metal material, also a curved rear on the Galaxy S7 will make it easier to hold.
