New Google Play Store Now Shows If The App Supports Android Wear Devices

Google Play Store has a new design, which looks great. The latest update with the new UI is now rolling out and arriving on the Android devices.

This new version comes with two main app categories: Apps & Games, and Entertainment. Under the Apps & Games you’ll find all kinds of games and many other sub categories. When it comes to Entertainment, some of the sub categories are Music, Books, and Movies & TV.

That’s not all. When you find the app you want to download, you will see the essential info about it, including the information if the app has Android wear support or not. If you see a watch icon above the “Read more” section, it means the app supports Android wear devices.

When you click on “Read more” you’ll see Android Wear and Enhanced for Android Wear next to the watch icon.

This is pretty cool because it makes things a lot simpler. Those who have an Android wear device will know at the glance if the app they want supports Android wear or not.

At the moment, not all the apps that support Android wear include the watch icon, but that will certainly change. The design is excellent, and watch icon is a great addition!
