Next Year, The New MacBook Air Will Be Thinner

Apple reportedly is making the next generation of MacBook Air. It will be thinner than the current generation according to the Economic Daily news. To re-design MacBook Air 13 inch, Apple will also  make a new MacBook Air, 15 inch. At this point, there is no information about MacBook 11 inch, whether they will produce it or not.

To make a thinner MacBook Air, Apple will have to re-design the internal hardware. At this moment, the thickest point on MacBook Air is 1.7 cm, and the thinnest Apple laptop is MacBook 12 Retina display with the thickest point of 1.31 cm.

Next Year, The New MacBook Air Will Be Thinner

Currently, the thinnest MacBook – MacBook Retina 12 inch – has sacrificed the port adoption. There are only 2 ports on it: USB Type-C and the headphone jack to reach the thickness.

According to that report, the re-design of the thinner MacBook 13 inch and 15 inch will be announced on WWDC 2016, which will be scheduled on July.
